car sittin for a long time

i just got my car up after a year of being down. the only problem i am havin is that i will hit the gas to the ground and the rpm's go up, car jerks a bit. i think the throttle may be stuck open, but i dunno if i should check anything else. it's been sittin for lion, i dunno what else to check.

Did you put new gas in it? If you're running on year old gas that could bag it down, also have you changed oil and stuff.

no, i dumped all fluids the first week of sittin; figured it be down for a while
