Clutch probs

hey everyone...

did a search but didn't find anything satisfactory...so here goes nothing...
92 civic hb w/ d16z6 and act clutch...put in about 3-4 years ago...mods CAI/ CBE...
clutch not engaging at all during its last legs...then finally it just didn't grab at all...funny thing is that the pedal doesn't 'spring' back up...just stays pressed down...able to start the car and drive in first...but that's pretty much it...what's wrong?

99singleslammer is an unknown quantity at this point
could be one of two things.
1. look under the dash where the clutch cable meets the pedal and make sure everythings working right.
2. or you have wore out your release bearing so bad its stuck engaged.

what i'd do if i where you is look there the clutch cable is hooked to tranny see if it engages there.
