Crankshaft Pulley help

over the past weekend me and my friend installed a unorthodox pulley on my d16z6. everything went fine intil we had the new pulley on an we were tightening down the crank pulley bolt. i think we tightened it too tight and it stripped out the bolt.(either that or when the bolt was being taken out it stripped off the begining of the bolt). the only part of the bolt that stripped was the very tip not too much threads though at all. but just enough to where if i were to put it back in to tightin the new pulley down the bolt did not want to go in because the threads were already too big. so i went to Honda an got a new bolt. i didnt know if the threads were messed up on the crankshaft or if the bolt that stripped was old. the guy at honda told me to see if the bolt started to go in nicely with my hand i should be fine. so i tightined down with my hand and then used a small ratchet to tighten an then last used a torque wrench. the stock set Ft-Ibs is 134. i tightened it too about 115-120 Ft-Ibs. At that point the bolt did not want to go any tighter at all. I didnt want to strip it again so i left it at that point. then i lowered the car off the jack and started it and drove around for about 5-10 minutes. everything seemed to be perfectly fine. but now im doing research and im worrying about my bolt coming off??? do you think i should try tightening the bolt to 134 Ft-Ibs or leave it? cause i dont want to strip it off again ?

first thing you should do is take off that unorthodox crank pulley and toss it as far as you can like a discus... Crank pulleys are bad for your motor. The stock unit is not a pulley at all, it is a balancer. So it helps reduce harmful harmonics in the bottom end. These harmonics lead to excessive wear on the main bearings.

As for the bolt. I couldn't tell from the beginning if you felt you stripped the bolt or the crankshaft snout itself. As for 110ft-lbs vs 134ft-lbs, I wouldn't worry too much about it. The motor itself does not generate 110ft-lbs of torque, so it should not unscrew on its own. I think you will be fine, but wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on it and check it in a few days.
