Head Code "P2A-10"
Year Code "98"
several of these with years varying from 96-00
All with head codes from P2A-8, 9 and 10

it should stand to reason that the first three characters (for example, P2A) are primarily the head designation code, and the following letters i assume either deal with date/location the head was made.

if anyone has anything to add, please do so.

Nice post. I always questioned why I had different numbers stamped on the head, and on the intake mani...

I have an 00 EX Auto, isn't that a D16Y8 too? It just says EX 5-spd, but I thought the Auto would have the same engine...
