d15 to d16z6

D15 to d16z6. Just some quick questions for anyone who might have the answers. I own a 91 civic lx with the 1.5L. I bought a d16z6 from a delsol about a year ago. my 1.5l gave out so now i'm forced to do the swap. What all do I need to make it work. What ecu will work. does anyone know of any companies that make the harness to make it all run. I would like to save the money on the harness by doing it myself but if theres one out there that ain't expensive as hell let me know. thanx for any help ya'll can give.

I have a 92 CX, with a d16z6. I took out the crap d15b8 (70hp) and the d16 was pretty much plug and play! You are going to want a p28, maybe a p06 ecu, as far as wiring harness I sure there are ones out there, but I would buy a complete one from a delsol or 92-95 civic and splice it myself to save money, but it may be one heck of a chore.

plug and play for your 92 because it is obd1. his 91 is a different generation civic (88-91, 92-95, 96-00, etc.) so his best bet will probably be to convert his car to obd1.
