D15 swapped into 98 civic Si CEL flash PROBLEM!!

K so i just bought a 1998 civic Si with a D15 from japan. There were no problems when i first bought it but a couple days after the CEL would come on and the engine would start losing power and the car would buck like a madman. The guy that swapped the engine in said he only swapped the head and block. Now he had the main relay replaced, and i had the PCM (ECU i guess? i dunno the honda tech. said PCM) replaced. Now the car runs A LOT better, but every like 40 km on the highway it still flashes once and the car kinda bucks, but then is fine. I heard a clicking by the passenger footwell when it happens, but with all this replaced what the hell could it be?! its driving me nuts guys!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

We would really need to know what code the ecu is throwing before anyone could provide any meaningful help.

thats

just the problem. the ecu doesnt store the code, and the CEL just flashes while im driving so its kinda hard to pull the code then lol. its as if the engine is misfiring, but swapping out the old ecu or pcm or whatever has retarded the problem slightly... is it possibly damaged wiring now?

checked out a code that went off, it was the VSS, is it possible that it could be that?
