D15B information

I am really interested in getting a D15B to swap into my VX. A few questions I have:

Can I use the P28 ECU? Or do i need the P08?

If I have the P08 can I still chip it with uber or crome?

What should I do when I buy it, what new parts should I put on it?

I heard if you buy from soko, and you go there you can pick out the engien yuo want. What should I look for? I know when picking out the tranny I'll look for the LSD stamp .

Any more info would be appreciated. Thanks.

U canuse either, the P28 is almost identical to the P08 in Uberdata (stock honda Binary`s)... so either will work, i usually use more or less a P28 or P06 with p28 maps...

yes sir u can... since ur probably new to this gimme a call if u have any probs, number in sig.

any gaskets and seal that are on the motor without taking off the head, I.E.- water pump, timing belt, seals, valve cover gasket, cam seal, dizzy seal...

on the tranny just look through the hole in the side of the tranny at the diff. if it has a post through there it is a non LSD, is u can see through the tranny out the otherside it is LSD and as for looking for the motor, look for any broken Dizzy parts or broken sensors.. hope this helps.. and i have a couple tuned P28 maps that were tuned on a JDM D15b, u want em tell me and ill send u a burned chip with optimium gas mileage and power for the motor with 91oct, I/H/E and such Basic peformance upgrades...
