see thats the thing im saying, this motor that is 7200 bucks is not going to have that problem or any other problem you would have. im probley mostly going to drag, street drag that is. the motor from bisimoto is built for that,........ and good for 700hp boosted. you can open the oil holes at the crank and stuff too for this motor. i guess this is what they do to it, all i know is they have a 12second NA D series. and they will build you a motor that would do that considering you buy all the other stuff that you need too. the engine custom forged pistons, rods, sleeved, bored to 78.5 mm max, head is cnc mach. and portflowed, all valvetrain racing springs ect. custom ground cam, fully blueprinted and balanced, and all bearings and everything. im sure they do something with the girdle and oiling too the one thing im not sure is if i have to get the toga hv oilpump or if they have one they put on the motor when they build it. you pay a premium price you get a preimum product. i did think about swapping si/ex tranny but its shorter, and i dont think its gonna make that much a diff. if i put LSD on the tranny i have it will probley suffice.

lol yeah freakin mustangs my bro bought a freakin v6 07 stang, a whopping 4000lbs with a whopping 210hp lol, atleast it was 5spd though lol. i tried so hard to talk him out of that 465 dollar a month waste of cash, double that after insurance lol. Hes an idiot. but they are 17's, yes i know, you dont have to say it, they were on there when i bought it, so was the body kit, i like how it looks though, so i dont think im going to change it, i like the wheels, i just wish they were 16s and the bodykit still looked good with either 16's or 15's which when i have lots of power it wont make a huge diff. since i would be running slicks on the track whenever i went anyhow. and i know i know, but if i put 15's or 16's it wouldnt look right with the body kit, i dont wanna be lookin ugly. and i know the front bumper is ugly, im gettin a different one, lol you dont have to tell me, like i said i didnt choose this, i bought the car for its potential. it was already there.

oh...lol it looked like from your photo that the front piece was actually black unpainted plastic... which i thought looked good. it wasnt until you pointed it out that i took a closer look. honestly its not that bad, of course a milder bumper skirt or the oem + lip would be nice. gunmetal, gold, bronze, or white wheels would look SICK on your car, and any of those in 15 would do. and, honestly, your car will handle BETTER with the 15's, provided you get the right offset. nothing over +40, keep it between 25 and 40 with that thing. 17s are just abominations on our cars. they are heavy, stupid and are way overrated, and do more to hinder than help if you suspension / brakes arent set up for them. u know u know...

shoot i have no idea on that buddy youre a shit load smarter than me man, i dont now how to do any of that thats why i take it to someone, i understand lots, but there is lots that if i even try to start thinkin bout it my brain starts hurting.........such as mapping an ecu and shit. and yeah its all the unsprung weight and other stuff, and yeah i would like to find a set lookin exactly like that but bronze color, that would look fuckin awesome with that color, and the bumper im gettin has a more stock look looks more like a lip but without a seem kinda. it will look good with the rest of the car, and just part of the bumper is painted black. dude i bought it from hit an animal or some shit and just painted it black thats why there is no middle on the bumper and its cracked on the pass. side you cant really see it. but thats why its just painted black on half the bumper lol. the 94 dx sedan my wife drives is white with unpainted black front bump. and jdmstyle black projectors with the led halo rings. its tight i like it. but yeah i would like bronze on mine same wheel just bronze i wonder if i could find a place that can do that.

dude... those look kinda like fat 5's but i can c they arent. you can get a set of bronze ssk te37 knock offs for 380 shipped and a set of 15" falken azenis shipped for 250.if your wheels are chrome then theres not much you can do b/c paint wont stick well to chrome and also its real hard to get off.
imfo, chrome doesnt have a good enough excuse to exist..

oh if by fat 5's you mean 5spoks that are thick, yes .........they are, and they arent chrome they are silver painted i think, or just polished alum. clearcoated or wet sanded like a mf. ive seen some one do a really good job with some freakin spray paint on some stock wheels on his mr2, like a black metallic, like gunmetal but about 3 shades darker. they looked like he bought them somewhere, he used spray paint and just wet sanding...... probley for like a year on each wheel how good these things looked, i asked where you get those rims or did you pay a company to paint them, he was like spray paint and lots and lots and lots of wet sand, ..... dude they looked like they had a clear coat like mine but they didnt he just wet sanded them that much. it would be hard to find a nice bronze, but there are lots of clean bronze out there im sure i can find some. and actually the falkens you are talkin bout i think are the ones i liked where you were lookin but the falken brand itself was high as hell. ill check out those ssk sounds like a deal to me.

oh, cool i like the polished look, just switched my hx rims over from the rolla to the civic, where they belong.. they are the oem light grey color, but sometimes they look polished @ certain angles.. i wanna paint them gunmetal or black, when i order a set of i think falken azenis? looking into tire options.. man those enkies are light as fire! i can pick up the wheel w/tire and toss it up in the air like a ball and catch it coming back down NP which is great compared to the heavy weight of the steelies. upon catching them you really feel the diff in weight..
the car feels a lot better overall, and the tires are slightly larger @ 195-60 vs 185-60 ..
car handles better, and the difference in unsprung weight has given the weaker dx suspension and braking components a "break" themselves. the acceleration is improved as well, and overall the sensistivity of the road has been improved. now all i need is a proper suspension.
imho, the hx rims are the next best thing to a set of 15"s, and 17"s aren't the way to go with these cars unless you have improved you braking & suspension components to match.
