type-r [B]D16y7 to D16y8 Intake Manifold Sawp - Help![B]

(I tried to follow the instructions here as well)
D16Y8 intake manifold swap - tutorial!

So - Here's what I have:

Don't laugh, but I have a 98 Civic DX "Automatic". I plan to convert one of these days...

I recently bought a complete 5 Speed 98 EX Vtec Intake Manifold at a very good price.

I heard rumors that the swap should work - but after a few failed attempts, I need some help. In my research online, people seem to have done this without much problems...

Here's what I'm working with:
d16y7 Automatic ECU, d16y7 harnesses, d16y8 5 speed intake manifold + fuel rail, and either d16y7 automatic throttle body or d16y8 5 speed throttle body.

1. Will it not work since I have an DX auto transmission and the EX intake manifold is meant for an 5 speed manual?

2. Any step by step pictures to assist in the process?

3. Which throttle body should I use, since my DX auto t/b has the air sensor and the 5 speed t/b does not.

4. Should I have to remove the air sensor from the back of EX intake manifold and cover the holes if I do plan to use the auto DX t/b? (It seems the EX Auto transmission doesn't have the sensor on the back - but I may be wrong)

5. Whcich t/b will work best for my situation?

6. Do I have to convert my 3 wire iavc adapter into a 2 wire iavc adapter even though I am not changing the head?

7. I aso needs some quidance with the placement of a few of the hoses - like which one goes where...

Thanks!!!

The main the is to block off the IACV opening on the back and swap the y8 throttle rotor & spring over to your Y7 t/b. If you use Y7 ecu reuse the Y7 fuel rail & injectors.
