d16y7 with z6 head?

wats up guys one of my boys just gave me his 95 z6 motor that he over heated and im wondering can i swap out the head and IM? wat to do with the sensors do they bolt on?or do i have to run a y8 IM?

yes, i think you can use the Z6 stuff. But i would do some more searching around if i was you.

If it is overheated, the head is probably warped.. You would surely want to have it resurfaced. With the effort required, it would probably be simpler to just get a y8 head.

Definatly check out the head. He gave it away for a reason.
On a lighter note. Most D - Series parts are intertwineable.
