Mods: d16z6, cold air, projectors, jdm tails, 17"white rims, full EX interior, 2.5" strait exhaust, no cats, no resonators, carbon fiber muffler, TEIN S-TECHS installed soon, working on a homemade turbo kit

D16Z6 pops and farts around 6500!

I have a 92 CX hatch with a 93 d16z6, when I near red after vtec the motor does not pull as hard and pops. What is my problem, I swicthed my dizzy, the rotor, wires, I unhooked my aftermarket tach and now it is not as noticable, but still there. I do my own work and any help is appreciated.
