Engine stubling on acceleration

i need help from everyone on this one... i have a 93 civic ex (1.6 vtec) it drives fine half the time. But the other half it stumbles on acceleration...it bogs down starts to fall on its face, but if i punch the accelerator it runs fine...until the rpms get low, then again it starts stumbling. when i turn my car off then back on it runs fine for a little while..then starts acting up again....any help would be great.

Sounds like the same problem I had on my Integra. Ended up being the plugs. Try replacing the plugs/wires.
