Engine swap questions

Hi

Can i put a obd-0 engine into a obd-1 car without changing any of the wiring loom?

or would it have to be a complete engine and wiring swap over?

what would i need to change a D16y8 into a D15b7 car?

Cheers in advance

Shima

the d16 will drop right in.. tranny will bolt up too..

you can swap a ton of d16 and d15 parts.

your axles, motor mounts, tranny, shift linkage, intake/exhaust manifold, itll all work as long as you have the new head and block.

your gonna need the new ecu though, and your harness will work.

P.S.
what you referred to as being "wire loom" is called a wire harness. wire "loom" is something that electricians use, and alot of tuners use it as well, to wrap a group of wires together. it looks like the tube that comes out of your clothing dryer in your house, just, much smaller than that.
