Help! Auto tranny question...

the auto tranny in my 97' Ex coupe is crapping out. I've already replaced the linear solenoid, flushed the fluid 6 times with OEM ATF, and it still shutters and freaks out in first gear (and 4th gear). In addition, it is killing my MPG.

I'm debating replacing the tranny altogether. Does the EX VTEC motor use a different auto tranny than the LX / DX / HX?

Thanks.

D

it depends on the engine type, i think you can drop the either trans in either car. difference is gear ratio
