my buddy goes to school for building turbos, and he said if i buy a turbo he will mig me a manifold, and a downpipe, to fit my d16, but i dont want to just slap a turbo on it without doin alittle to the motor, so what would be just enough or alittle bit more re insurence that my motor wont blow pushing up to 8 lbs of boost, i have headers, high flow cat, cat-back, msg ingnition, and a throdle body spacer, i just want to beable to keep at up the turnpike
if hes looking to spend a little bit of cash for the most amount of extra power. with the rite fuel manegment and tune he will get the most outta that. wich is my opinion.
You have to know how each engine works and reacts to different parts before just putting something in.
What good would an upgraded cam to w/o say...header, exhaust?

to the OP. The turnpike speed limit is 70mph. Most cars have no problems keeping up woth that speed.
