mis-firing

my 95 d15 is mis-firing i changed the rotor, cap, spark plugs, and plug wires and its still doing it. when i pulled out one of the spark plugs its was dripping in oil. i think that would be my problem. how do i fix that?

first thing to do is run a compression test to see if any cylinders have leaks.
if you do you might have a valve leak or maybe a head gasket .

when you say it was dripping in oil do you mean b4 or after you pulled the plug out?

if it's b4, the spark plug tube seals a leaking, and that can cause your misfire.

if it's after you pull the plug out, either the valve seals are leaking or the oil control rings are bad.

are you sure it is oil?

if it's black from fuel it will evaporate.

if it's oil it will stay wet for a good while.

im positive its oil. could that be why my car burns oil? cuz i do a oil change and like within a month i need another quart. i know the car smokes bad when im in high rpm but is that cuz of the oil on the spark plug?

yes its because of oil leaking past the piston into the combustion chamber.
sounds like you need new rings.

run a compression test on all cylinders record the readings. do the compression test 3 times on each cylinder and record all the readings.
post up your readings and maybe we can further asist you.
