MUST SEE: dpfi to mpfi troubleshooting

I have everything switched over, all the wiring is done as every guide I see tells me, yet it won't start. It turns over, but just doesn't start. Does anyone have an idea as to what might be wrong? It baffles me.

Well I went through, rechecked my spark plug wires, regapped my spark plugs to .040. There's a spark but its still not starting. I went back through the wires at my ECU. There are 2 wires that aren't connected to anything, looked back through the guide, it's wires A3 and A7. There hooked up at the ECU plug, but the 2 wires are hanging there and none of the guides say what to do with them. Any help on this.

Yeah, I made sure that I was getting fuel to the injectors first. I think its the wiring for the dizzy. Can anyone tell me how to do that? It's got a weak spark.

Ok, went back through, dizzy's wired correctly. Pulled the fuel rail with the injectors up to check those. When I try to start it up, it would spray for a second and stop. All 4 injectors. Any answer on this dilema?

u might not have blown it but the 1 from my crx currently n my DA9 that i had both looked fine but when i put a new 1 in they both fired up right away. If u can try 2 use 1 from a friends car 2 c if it will work or not. If not then check both of ur fuel filters theres 2 of them.

Bought a new one. Now its not even spraying fuel? You think it might be the fuel pump? I'm going to get a 255lph walbro fuel pump. I used this link to do the wiring, anyone know if these are right?

check your fuel volt resistor box its on the drivers side kinda by the wheel well, you should have had to wire one in and there were 2 versions but only one works, you might have the wrong one or miswired it

nope, double or triple check your wires that go to your distributor. i went through the same thing for 2 months i couldnt figure out why it wouldnt start, i would get fuel and spark. as soon as i double checked the wiring for the dizzy it started right up. i just had the wires mixed up at the ecu.

I went through and redid the wires with new wires. Still won't start. Injectors just aren't spraying, its got fuel going to the fuelrail. I also took the RC 310cc injectors out and put the stock ones in, same thing, no fuel.

well GEE if you look at the post above this one, its obviously not the dizzy or the wiring , yes i had the same issues you both had/having, in this case it seems to be a FUEL PROBLEM getting pressure to the rail but injectors not firing...hmmm..injectors are wired into the FUEL VOLT RESISTOR BOX, then to the ECU so id check there first

Yeah, I looked at the ECU, and all the wires that the guide mentions are in place, but there are 2 wires that are required to be cut have a wire thrown on them and ran into the engine bay, I did that, but there are still those 2 wires hanging there cause every guide I read never mentions them, could this have something to do with it? I'll go pull hte guide up and post where the wires were at.
