My question is can i Just take my head from my new motor and the bottom end of the other and run with that until I get my bottom end all patched up... I have searched and searched on this topic but i cannot find a clear answer links or comments are welcomed. thanks guys josh

Reason: spelling
Mods: H&R sports, koni yellows, enkei 15's, y8 IM, apexi N1 catback, redded out tails, black housing heads, DIY front grill, all moldings painted, DcSport short shifter, type-r shift knob, makeshift AEM SRI, rear si sway bar, cross/slotted front rotors
you mean the bottom end from the y5 and put that on the y8? if so, yeah that will work.
Yeah, You can run that without a problem, the only thing I could see is it being a mini me like that, you might not get as much power if it increases your compression ratio. But it'll run.
