NEED AN ANSWER

OK guys, This is my problem. I bought a turbo 98 ex from a guy and for the most part what he said the car was it was but there is a big problem. it dropped a rod bearing into the oil pan while we where pulling the car off the trailer(yea that really sucks) in any case I have a d16y5 from a few years back sitting in my garage. My question is can i Just take my head from my new motor and the bottom end of the other and run with that until I get my bottom end all patched up... I have searched and searched on this topic but i cannot find a clear answer links or comments are welcomed. thanks guys josh

Yeah, You can run that without a problem, the only thing I could see is it being a mini me like that, you might not get as much power if it increases your compression ratio. But it'll run.

Ah, well there you have it. I didn't know they would have the same deck heights and so forth. So I thought it'd be thrown off like most other blocks.
