Yes I am new. NBD I race mustangs, and I saw an Evo run 10s, and I thought it would be cool to see what I can do with my CR-V. First thing is going to be to put a head on it ,if possible, to toy with it while I'm buiding a strong bottom end. Might try a turbo, or see what I can do NA. My understanding is NA really isn't that feasible and I'm not into nitrous. I pride myself in building NA and beating power adders, however, The more I read the more I'm becoming open to adders. Do you think I'm nuts??? Might it be possible?? Just lookin to be different.

Just remember. N/a= Deep pockets. For the DDs, Mm..not really reliable.

But then again, if you got money you can do anything.

NA can make some good times on the right engine. As far as a D-series engine, they are turds unless boosted

We are talking Honda motors here, It is hard to build a fast and realiable N/A with 97 CID motor, if you want to compare it to something like a 350, lol, though they arent really the same...

So you have many choices to choose from, man. Do what you

We are talking Honda motors here, It is hard to build a fast and realiable N/A with about 119 CID motor, if you want to compare it to something like a 350, lol, though they arent really the same...DISCPLACEMENT MEANS SOMETHING

So, you have many choices to choose from, man. Do whatever

1. Swap a VTEC head on it for some "awesome power gains and even greater reliability" (saracasm)

2 Do a costly N/A build and get the "above results"

3 Boost it, though i have heard bad things about b20s

4 Sell it and buy something worth building.

I would honestly go with 3 and 4. Unless you want a fun DD, then maybe 1. I have not heard great things about the b20 though so...What ever you do, make sure you match it to your driving style

That's what I'm afraid of. I only wanna do a cr-v to be different. I guess if I run the 2.0 I'll have to boost w/ a "little" spray????? I would prolly have to lower the compression a bit. I don't think those trannies were the greatest and don't know what they will handle. What engines and trannies, if any, would swap into a cr-v with minimal hassle and still keep AWD if at all possible. Don't think I'm crazy, I'm new to the imports as far as racing goes, but I can build 10 second mustangs all day long and just want something people can talk about. Thanx for any help you can give me.
