Mods: dc sports headers / aem CAI / fully greddy exhaust / lowerd on ebiach sportline and gr2's / 14" steelies / full JVC sounds system from Dragon Audio

options?

ok i have a 1992 honda civic hatchback dx with a d15b7 the rings are leaking pretty badly . . and i know the #1 cyl. is more then likly scored up pretty bad i was just wanting to know anyone know any options rather then paying $550 for just the block to be rebuilt not including all new head gaskets and valve job ect or the $900 option of a low milage motor from importer . . are those really my only options in this case or is the mabey a cheap alterative . . if not thanks btw anyone have an old block around the florida area they dont need from swap or whatever lemmi know lol

if you buy a used block, you're still going to need to do all the gaskets & bullshit & you might as well upgrade the internals while you're in there.. just my 2 cents.

If you have to do all of that, then its a good time to look into getting a swap. d16z6, jdm d15b vtec, etc.

yea thought about that but the problem is that i have very little money to work with atm and its also my Daily so i cant have her down for more then really a weekend
