That shit happens every time I go into reverse. It's so funny when my friends drive my car and they through it in reverse, the expression's on their faces are priceless... :eek

I don't think it is anything to worry about, but then again my car makes so many noises, that i have to worn people who ride with me, just to ignore all the wierd noise they hear, I keep telling them it's nothing, I don't think they want to listen...
Mods: Huge wing, couple of kanooter valves and oh yes the whipple valve too! Super V-tak, gay stickers, parts that don't work, some mats like Strongman ftl
There has been a few times when my car has done the same thing. Heres what I do and it works all of the time. Number one I always park my car in neutral and use the e-brake. So if I try and put it in reverse and it doesn't want to go, because the gears are freewheeling, so to stop them you put it in first and then back into reverse and your all set.

every civic has the problem. even on new cars. I've gotten to the point where i can tell whether its in or not and just let the clutch out once or very slowly and it goes right in without grinding.
lol i think its just the shitty honda D-series tranny...mine does that too...i just hold it in reverse and let out the clutch till it catches without hitting the gas to rev it and make that nasty noise
