st suspension sway bars not fitting correctly on 6th gen hatch?
i ordered the set of st suspension sway bars for my 97 hatch (the one that's for civics that never came with an oem front bar)...
at the shop, we couldn't figure out how to get the rear bar on, as when the bar was being test fit, the ends where you'd normally bolt on the endlinks were bumping against the brake line brackets...
not only that, but the general shape of the bar looks different from all the other ctr/typical jdm type bars that are generally straight, then have 90 degree bends at the end for the links...
the st bar has about a 45 degree bend at the ends...
and in case this is important, i did a rear disc conversion off a del sol years back...
anyone have any helpful info on this?
thanks!

like i posted above, the ends of the rear bar are angled differently from the typical big rear sway bars that are 90 degrees...
so i seems the bar i got is too wide for my application, from the looks of it, as both ends get lodged against the brackets that hold my brake hoses in place...

Ugh, why can't a company make a part that fits worth a d@mn...
If it were me, I would return it and buy oem bars. I don't think your brake conversion is the issue. Everything would be in the same place if you still had the stock drums...
Would it be possible to get a pic of how it is interferring? The pic you linked too definately makes it look like those endlinks are way too far out.
1. What a horrible end link design. The ek already has holes for the swaybar in the lcas, why didn't they use them?
2. So when you did the del sol conversion, which rear lower control arms did you use? Did you keep your stock lcas? The eg/integra rear lcas are shorter than ek lcas.

i did not bother keeping my originals with drums as they were trash...
i just ended up using new rotors, pads, and eventually had to replace the calipers 2 years later...
incidentally, i checked st suspension's website and looking at part numbers, the del sol, eg, and ek civics use the same... dc2 integras used something different.
maybe i should have gotten the part number for that instead?

I'm not sure since I got my S/T bars 6 years ago, but I know that it's a complicated install for the rear. I knew this ahead of time and got a shop to quote me $80 to intall both F and R... they weren't too pleased when they spent all day on it!

i got the complete conversion:
the guy that sold it just included everything that's bolted to the trailing arms, so yes, the rear lower control arms are from the integra...
