Thermostat Opinions

I am noticing my car is overheating a bit and I think the thermo could be the culprit. The little needle goes up when I am stopped and when I move it begins to drop slowly.I may be wrong that its the thermo but I still wanna change it just to be sure. Are there any cooler thermostats out there I could purchase?
I have a D15B7.

Don't worry about switching to a cooler thermostat. Just get a new OEM thermo. Is your rdiator fan working?

Yes my radiator fan is working like it should.I just noticed my Coolant reservoir had an excessive amount of coolant in it and I removed some.Just ran the car a bit in park gave it a good rev. and as soon as I hit the 3000-3500 band I can see the needle slowly go up. And my radiator fan kicks in but the needle is still up there.

Overheating when stopped is sometimes a sign of a blown head gasket. Could also be air in the system, but that is unlikely if the system hasn't been touched.
