Timing problems

I have a 89 crx with a D15B6 motor in it. The timing belt broke, and im not sure if it messed all the valves up. But i have a head from a D15B2. So if the valves on the b6 are messed up. Would it be possible to just replace the head with the one from the B2 and then just set the timing?

I can see you got the same response I got to my inquiries... NOTHING

But, I'll give you my 2cents even if it is 5 months after you ask---

The B2 head should work on the B6 engine but there are some differences to consider..
First the compression ratio will be slightly less - 9.6 down to 9.2 which is probably 1 maybe 2 HP.. Also, the B6 is multiport and the B2 is dualpoint now that is intake manifold parts to keep in mind.. Lastly the cams are different, the B2 will make more HP but your MPG will go down some unless you compensate.. maybe raise compr. ratio, valve work.. rest is up to you..
