Im a d-series fan, only because no one expects my sohc 1.6 to smoke their cobra at the stop light. oops, i mean track. j/k. anyways, im running a greddy turbo kit in my basically stock d16y8 2000 civic. which is automatic transmission. full exhaust, emanage, timer, suspension, wheels tires, head studs, headgasket... i've bought a block and buying rods rings and pistons to build for more boost, but while i do that, i also want to convert to a manual transmission. and to be honest, im finding my research to be futile. so im resorting to you guys! ok, to the question...
does anyone know basically ALL of the parts i would need for a full and proper auto to manual swap on a 2000 civ d16y8? and any possible tips on doing the install, like things to remember or watch out for or anything? oh and im planning on about 260whp, so any specific parts to make the tranny withstand the beating?
For that kind of power, what about stronger axles, and LSD?

Mods: header back exhaust, intake, lowering springs, agx shocks, milled head, FDS3 turbo seats, audio system, car alarm,
clutch master cylinder, isn't there wiring too, might be thinking of an accord but isn't there a computer that controls some aspects off the auto trans. like reverse lights etc......gauge cluster if there is auto shift indictor on it.....it would look pretty stupid.....plus a tach would help......never owned a auto civic so don't know what the cluster looks like!
most important is a repair manual if you don't already have one

thanks guys. yeah there is a gear indicatior in the gauge cluster to the right hand side, between the fuel gauge and temp gauge. and good point on the electronic end, i was worried about that. how will i have reverse lights and stuff? and if i have a car that was auto, and i put a manual in it, will the computer go haywire?

im not sure on if its the ecu or a seperate computer? prob the ecu and that wuld be avoided by gettting a 5sp ecu and aproperate 5sp plugs for the reverse lights......once agian not 100% sure on this. and If I had 250whp I would definely get a lsd or whats the point of having all that power going to one wheel.

That is why I posted lsd for that reason. Spinning one wheel, with that much power equates to this...wtf is traction. That is the same as trying to run 600 rwhp on a fucking 245 summito tire or something..completely pointless.
