Transmission codes

I was wondering what all the d-series tranmission codes are. I'm curious if my friend has an Si tranny, but I'm not sure of the code for the tranny.

i had a thread that had this addressed in it. it seemed that even with the same model some had different tranny codes. if you want to know his it shoudl be on the front side of the tranny kinda near where the engine code is on the block

look by the tranny drain plug on the side. in a small circle there will be a small stamp.

b0000= good shit(ex/si tranny and bigger bearing cases)
I would recoment a 2/4 door EX tranny longer 5th gear then Si when do you use 5th in a race???

a0000=bad shit(dx/lx and shit gearing and smaller bearings cases)
