turbo question

ok i threw the mini me swap out the window i now have a built d16z6 eninge with vitara pistons and tuner toy h beam rods, the head is stock except for skunk2 springs and reatainers and supertech nitrate valves, stock cam no port work. i belive compression should be 8.8:1 correct me if im wrong. ok now im ready to buy a turbo i can get a greddy 15g turbo the tdo4 cheap off a buddy of mine, but not sure if that would be big enough for me to get the most out of my motor since its built now, or i was also thinking about a 57 trim t3/t4 style let me know what you think thanks

I wouldn't waste my time with a tdo4 but that's me. I would go dual ball bearing t3/t4 hybrid with a greddy bar/plate front mount and 750cc injectors . but that's the old dsm side talking. if you just want a turbo'd car the tdo4 will do fine but your engine may out run it. isn't the 15g off the 2g dsm's? if it is the problem they had was the engine was in fact outrunning the turbo and the boost dropped off early... just something you may want to think about. then again, you can rebuild the 15g. Hone it out and make a sleeper turbo, use a 20g compressor and turbine wheel and have it done very very cheap especially if you know what you're doing and do all of it but the honing yourself... that's what I did with my 1g talon before I got rid of it.
