how would you know if you have a bad ecu or not...is there another way of checking it.....

you should also check your solenoid....that could be it....or ur ecu....

Well you can spend the $$$ to bring it somewhere and have it tested, or if you know someone who has the same ECU and they will let you try it... but then you run the risk of something happening to that ECU if your wiring is wrong.

thanks for all the help...i figured out that it was the ecu.....does anyone have a spare p28 ecu or have a good p06 ecu chipped for vtec for sale.....
