jo06, i got a question man, i bought this del sol with a d15b7, suposedly the rods and pistons are forged, block is sleeved, titanium valvetrain, its got the crome chip deal where the guy who tunes it takes it out and reflashes it for the setup on the dyno. im running 9.64psi 184.9hp 147.67ftlbs, its got a piece 'o' shit intake mani and stock throttle body, the guy i bough it from fixed the tune, when he bought it it was running 15psi with a rising rate fuel pressure regulator,....... some bullshit called an fmu chip that wasnt doing shit and big ass injectors, and a stock fuel pump, it was maxing 110hp at 15psi lol. and with the stock map sensor, well, now all that is fixed the dude took off the 15 spring for the 10lb wastegate spring, and got a 255 fuelpump, redid the fuel lines, and got it tuned with the crome thing. well now im wanting to try to hit 250hp or more, i got the skunk2 68mm TB and intake Mani on the way, with a 3 bar map, skunk2 adj. cam gear, full MSD ignition, and the Hondata heatshied that goes between the intake plenum and the head, you think i can hit or break 250hp, and do you think the engine is really built like i was told it was, the valve train is much cleaner, shinyier, than my stock 94dx with the same engine and about the same miles, and so is the rest of the engine, no leaks exept the turbo return line to the oilpan, which is an easy fix, and it runs perfect, it was ran untuned for probley 20,000 atleast, but it runs perfect still, now with a proper tune and stuff, would u say its probley built to be able to live through that shit, do you think i can hit 250hp or even more? i dont think i will want more than 250, not at first, till i get use to it, cuz this is my first turbo car and i fucked up and was switching lanes when i hit the boost rpm and got pulled to the shoulder, my car has been lightend to about 1980lbs, with nobody in it about 2190 with me in it. can i get some advice bro

A lot of work done to her.
I'm not too sure if that works has really been done without cracking it open. Chances are it has been done.
Yes, you'll be able to hit your goal.
You could do it on a stock engine, just find a GOOD, REPUTABLE tuner to make it happen.
Look into a Hondata S200 or S300 ECU

Search bud. A search on Google will tell you what a Y8 will have.
Regardless, a D16Y7 is STILL a D-SERIES. So it's still slow, unless boosted.
Welcome to SHO

lol. Just random question, how much does this affect your MPG?
I do not have the ~3000$ to buy a turbo, but I am just wondering....

It depends how it is tuned and how you drive it.
You can still get 30+ mpg.
