What can the Auto handle.

So just what the title says. Am i safe to go with a JRSC or nitrous? will a tranny cooler help? just any information on this would help. most threads where dead ends where poeple just said swap a 5-speed or sell the car.

I seen a guy run at the track with a civic ex auto and a JRSC with nitrous

he blew a rod, but he sprayed a 75 shot right off the line, all I can tell you is watch your rpm's when the trans shifts, you don't wanna be spraying when you are at low rpm's. as for the trans, idk, the worst thing that can happen is you can find out the hard way that it couldn't handle it

i wouldnt push an auto over 160whp

the tq converter isnt meant to take much more then about 15% over stock power. you can run a JRSC very effectivley i think on an auto it would work very nicley.
