1000cc injectors
would running 1000cc injectors on a stock B16 with around 10psi of boost be overkill a little?
I plan on getting it rebuilt after a while but i don't feel like buying injectors twice. I'm just worried if i get 1000cc that they'll have to be lowered so much for the stock motor that the Hondata either couldn't handle it or the injectors wouldn't work properly

however much i can squeeze out and not grenade the block.
And i think that hondata can because the shop near me, Hybridynamics has a civic and a teg with built up motors and they are both running 1000cc precision injectors with hondata.
They liked those because they had RC's but a couple of them locked up in their their cars and fried a couple pistons, and they went with the precisions and never had a problem since
Both cars are puttion out around 350 hp

1000 cc sounds like a bit too much, almost a waste of injector. that's for like 650+ hp applications. I'd say a set of 550 or so would do you just fine, but hey, whatever floats your boat.
A set of 550's will do fine with hondata if ur planning to build. 1000 will be way too much....my friend with his 850HP MKIV supra isnt even running that big of an injector.
1000CC's are gonna be a bitch no matter what on Hondata. my 860's were a pita to get to idle. Hondata gets iffy right around that point and up.
id say its over kill if you dont really need them . if you need em then get em and figure the rest out later.

if they are only putting out 350hp than wtf are they using such big injectors. There is no reason to go that big unless you just want to be able to say: "yea I have 1000 cc injectors.", or you are pushing about double that hp and even then it is iffy.

Man... 550s should handle 350whp easy! Guys I know running 550+ and 700+ turbo Honda's run 1100cc injectors. 1000 is overkill.

If they were running 20 lbs. of boost they still wouldn't need an injector that big. Sounds like they shouldn't be running anything more then 680cc at the max. My step bro has a 400+ whp GSX runing 22 lbs. and that's what he is running.
