WooshSI is an unknown quantity at this point
2.5 in vs. 3 in downpipe

I've got a 2.5 inch exhaust. T3/T40E turbo. I'm not sure whether to get a 3 inch dp or a 2.5.
I'm assuming a 3 inch for better air flow but aren't sure if going from a 3in dp to a 2.5 exhaust has any benefits or loss? Looking for some opinions on this. Thanks.

Nick

if your exhaust is 2.5" keep the downpipe the same size. going with a bigger downpipe could cause some boost creep.

you need a 3'' dp and 3'' exhaust. 2.5'' just isnt enough for turbo anymore.

ive seen it done, and works well w/ 2.5'', but you cant beat the 3-4'' dp and exhaust
