Why do you say that? Because you never did it? There's only one way to learn man, and that's by doing it.
Take a few weeks researching the K20 swap and all it's "ins and outs" for the 2K1 Civic, gather all the parts you'll need and the motorset then set aside a whole weekend to do the swap. Any tools you don't have such as an engine lift can be rented, so as long as you have the driveway/garage space you can do it. You and 2 good(mechanically inclined) friends should be able to figure it out with all of the resources on the net.
But expect the unexpected, and if you're missing something you didn't foresee after the car is apart prepare to have a back mode of transportation.
Personally I think you'd be alot more satisfied with a K20 swap, not to mention, it will be a stock motor. And if you can manage to grab one from a USDM RSX and leave all of the emissions systems intact, it will be emissions legal too.
