3 bar map sensor Questions

Hiya all...

I am doing a LS/Vtec turbo. The heads off a b16a1 Sir. I will be pushing 15lbs of boost. I will be using a pw0 ecu chipped with Hondata. I saw on Hondata's website the part number for the 3 bar map sensor male plug piece from GM to upgrade to a 3 bar sensor. Does anyone know what part number, vehicle, etc etc for the 3 bar map sensor itself that will work for this setup? Thanks in advance!

I bought a new 3 bar map sensor from GM for the same reason. Haven't installed my hondata yet so I haven't put it in. But I have to go to my garage and check the part number. If you want I can get you a brand new one from the dealer and ship it to you for $100. I don't know what they go for new or used, but I got mine for $95, so let me know. You can just give me $5 for the shipping, I am sure it will be somewhere around there. The reason I got it for that price is becasue my friend works at the potiac dealer here in town.

Yeah that sounds good. Is it a bolt right on deal, or do I need to modify it to make it bolt on? Also, Ill need the male insert plug for it. I wont be buying it for another week or 2. Heres my email, send me your contact info and I will get ahold of you. Thanks!

turbopreludet4 is an unknown quantity at this point
you dont have to have a 3 bar map sensor....a 1 bar is good for 14.5 psi of boost...2 bar is good for like 25 or so ...and a 3 bar is good for more than 30psi.......just put in some check valves in the vaccum line to the map sensor....it works trust me....
