530 Kw Civic, running 9s No NOS - Honda Forum / Acura Forum

According to "SPEED" magazine. A professional racer named Lisa Kubo is running a Honda Civic in 9.1 seconds. I did a bit of research and found out how she did it.

B16A engine,
Stroked to 2.0L
Compression to 11:0
Boost at 2 bar (30 psi)

My question is, WHAT IN THE WORLD DID SHE FORGE HER ENGINE OUT OF, ADAMATITE??!!

She has got to be seriously running rocket fuel to stop that baby pinging. I've seen no mention of NOS or any other upgrades that would significantly contribute to that power.

Anyway, what's the quickest anyone's got from their Civic?

Engine management is how she keeps the engine together.

Jotech's civic is making ~820whp
Venoms is making 900+whp

I dont know how to convert that to kw

well, she's a professional racer so we'll probably never know what her engine truly has/is made out of. but i suppose that they probably spend a lot of their time tuning it so it can run like that.

and the quickest from my civic, 13's with nitrous with the factory civ ex motor. i'm gonna learn a bit more about the h22 swap and maybe look into that into the future and hope that the skies the limit, both in terms of parts and money.

the quickest professional i've seen in a civ is 8's, but i think he'll probably be breakin 7's soon, or i at least hope to see it soon

another thing to remember is that most of these people rebuild their engines after every few runs.
