600whp turbo setup

it's been a long time since i have posted, but im upgrading my turbo set up, so i figured i'd post up some details ... and i am bored, so enjoy. and by the way the car is a 2000 civic Si with full interior, cruise control, etc

OLD SETUP
ls/vtec 84mm bore, stock cams and intake manifold. wiseco pistons/eagle rods combo, aebs sleeves.
turbonetics 60-1, turbosmart 38mm WG, GReddy type RS BOV
312whp @ 11psi, 400whp @ 18psi (pump gas- 93 octane)
1/8mi ~ 7.60 @ 100
1/4mi ~ 11.50 @ 124

NEW SETUP
ls/vtec 85mm bore, CTR cams, VictorX intake manifold
GT3582r on Topmount manifold
we are expecting 630whp +/- on c16.
im hoping to run around 10.5 @ 140 roughly

i'll post up some pictures when it's finished, should be done in about a week or 2

Nice setup, I was just wondering what size injectors you were using? My setup is really similar, and will be using a T3/60-1 turbo in november after the new engine is finished being broken in. My power goal was the same also 400whp at what I was estimating to be 18psi. Your 1/4m times are great, what kind of 60' were you getting? Do you have anything in the traction department? I will be getting a full-race turbo kit and their traction bar at the same time my goal was 11's also. Great setup and keep us posted on the new build.

the 60-1, which had the upgraded stage 5 wheel made full boost at around 4500rpm. that was on an ls/vtec 84mm (2.0L). it was incredibly fast.

on the previous set up i was using rc 650cc, but now we are going 1000cc. dont worry about engine break in. rings need less than 50 miles to seat. i have low c/r @ 8.8:1 so i can make 18psi on pump with no worries .... that 1/4 time was back when the car was on 22" slicks, stock differential and stock axles w/ a 1.75 60' time. since then i have upgraded to 24.5" slicks and have a quaiffe. still stock axles til i break them. as for traction, none, just coilovers to lower the car a little bit.

that turbo wont make 630 i've tried especially with a t3 hot side t4 you have a better chance though of making that

not to be a dick, but that turbo is very capable of 630whp. and if you couldnt do it, then that doesnt mean it cant be done.
there have been several cars to make this kind of power with the gt35r @ RLZ on a dynapack 3000, which typically reads low compared to other dynos.
624whp @ 24psi
651whp @ 27psi

i have already made 496whp on pump gas (@ only 8300rpm) with a conservative afr and retarded timing. with c16 and advanced timing, revving to 9500rpm, 600 will be simple.

i'll post my dyno sheet when it makes the power i said

if you are talking about the gt35r with the .63 a/r exhaust side, then i'd say 600+ wont happen. this turbo has the .82 a/r exhaust. power wont be a problem, traction will

True . gt35r is very capiable of 600whp. jeff evans runs this turbo on a stock gsr motor and pulls i think 300whp! he's also one if the best tuners i know. Well not know but what i herd of. lol Hey man maybe you should consider getting a full race traction bar to help you with those 60 footers.

pulls very hard on the street too, im pretty happy with it so far. idles the 1000s like a stock car
