Hey guys, some guy in the NOS forum was talking about how he didn't want to get a turbo installed bcuz he was worried about if he got pulled over and a cop noticed his turbo. Are aftermarket turbos illegal in California? I've never heard of this before until tonite, does anyone in here have an idea of the laws on it?
For the most part, yes. You have to have a carb approved kit. There are a couple out there that have a carb number to show the kits compliance and thus legality of the turbo kit.

son-mama-bitch cost us our nite and made my friend go through the trouble of taking off his intake and exhaust. he had a 95 maxima, you know how hard it is to change it back to stock? he had to pay for a stock muffler and go back to the alley and go get his stock intake box in the garbage bag we threw away. hate those fucken PIGS!!!!!racist bitches!
