Question Anyone got an Fmax kit?

I have a 96 Honda Prelude SI 2.3 DOHC non-vtec. I'm saving up for the F-MAX kit with the larger head gasket to lower compression. I really have a few questions:
1. Stock compression is 9.8:1. What kinda compression will I get from replacing head gasket?

2. Does anyone have an F-Max kit out there on any car that they can comment on? I've seen plenty with the Drag and quite a few with the REV Hard. I'm starting to get curious as to whether or not I'm going after the best kit for my car.

I've learned a lot from this site. Coming here is the best thing I could have done. I knew NOTHING before coming here but I'm learning.

thank

i got that kit, well, just to let you know, first of all, those side injectors are a drag, take it from me, if you plan to boost let's say more than 15, i say you should get a different kit, since, you will have to upgrade things(injectors, pump) that you would with another kit. i regret getting this kit, i think that i should of gotten the rev hard kit. but this is my opinion.

Thanks, I needed your opinion. I put some money down on the FMAX kit but I can still change to something like Rev Hard if necessary. Hopefully I can get somemore opinions. And I do intend on pushing between 12-15 psi. Not sure how extensive I want to get with reinforcing my internals for that kind of psi

do yourself a favor and have FMAX modify your kit so you don't get the mf2 and extra injectors. Don't get the MSD BTM either.

With that savings, get a hondata 2B and (4) rc440 injectors and you will be a happy camper!

Thumbs up

I had thought of doing just that, but wasn't sure. You've made up my mind. Thanks for the info
