Mods: Street Fighter II bodykit, Apexi turbo, fuel, and intercooler kit, racing hart c2 evolutions, koni adj. shocks, skunk 2 coilovers
auto tranny cooler for a turbo civic
anybody know of a good tranny cooler I could use on my turbo civic?
I'm only runnin 5.5lbs of boost at the moment but I'd rather be safe then sorry.

Greddy makes tranny coolers, but i'm not positive if they make them for civics. If not B&M makes a series of them.

i was gonna ask the same thing...does he mean you can use the oil cooler as a tranny cooler?

a tranny cooler is not a must but engine oil cooler is a must for turbo
btw tranny oil cooler has smaller oil passage then engine oil cooler

I feel that the tranny cooler IS a must. I heard that if the tranny temp increases by even 10-15 degrees it will reduce the life of the tranny by 50%!!! I'd say its a MUST for honda auto trannies...because they are known to not be very strong, especially under boost.

cool..anybody ever use greddy's oil cooler? and is it really worth 200$ more than a b&m one?

i know i've asked this before..but no one knows of any tranny coolers that are reputable? or are they universal? i saw one in a jeg's catalog for like 25$ but that seems a little too cheap?
