b16 + Greddy Kit

who here is running a Greddy kit on a B16?
what track times:
what pounds:
what H/P:

I am currently running one, G18 on a B16/hatch, 7lbs
went to the track for the first time, Best time ran a 13.1 @ 110 on Kuhmo 712.

My real question is with my setup I am going through 1/4 in 5th. WTF? Is everyone going through the same?

Do you think an LS tranny will be better. Or stay with the b16?

If anything go with taller tires or a gs-r tranny, your not making enough power for an ls tranny.

this is true too ... for a high HP car, and if you wanna stay in boost for a long time, the LS tranny is good. on the street, it will prob hurt you.

the b16 tranny is close-gear ratioed, so you will shift more, but it will help you on the street. i know that sounds odd, but it's true.

and yes, taller tires help for sure

With 23.5" tall tires and a gs-r tranny I was still in fourth gear trapping at 118mph.
