B16A vs. B18C

is it worth to swap the B16A for a B18C for F/I?

i mean, is the difference so great that it would be worth the hassle?

what about reliability?

Both motors are comparable, the only benifit that you would see would be the added tq that the 1.8ltrs would offer.

the B18C's always seem to make more power than the B16, but i don't see the point in swapping it in and pullin the B16 unless you don't care about money

That's still a lot of work, especially if you can't do it yourself. If there is nothing wrong with the b16 than I wouldn't bother spending that much money for the gain, but if you absolutely want to do something than yes I would go with the b18b block ls/vtec. You can put together a really nice setup if the money is right.
