Mods: cat-back, shortshifter, headers(4-1) by the end of the year im gonna boost

bad turbos??

what are some of the turbos that you have had bad experiences with.. i wanna make sure when i boost my b16 that it is going to good and reliabe and in my budget of 2500 so far im pretty sure than SS autochrome and ebay are not the right way to go lol

at least your researching and finding out the right way instead of the hard way aka trial and error. obviously stay away from the ebay stuff like you said. there are a lot of good brand turbos to look into, We use Garrett on all our builds, but have also had great success with Borg Warner, and Precision turbos. A turbo is just one component to the upgrade, fueling, engine management, and the other turbo components are just as important.

get in touch with a qualified tuner in your area, and work with them to get a proper engine management solution to fit your needs.

i have seen that greddy has a turbo kit that has everything... but are they any good.. i have seen people love them and hate them.. and if thats not the way to go i might try and peice together my turbo kit lol
