Best turbo for my application?

So I have a ching chong meow turbo that needs replacing... im shooting for 300whp on my d16z6. So far i have:
t3/t4 Turbo
HKS blowoff valve
Intercooler
Mugen 2.5" full exhaust
3 stage clutch with 8ld flywheel
550cc injectors
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Tuned on chrome
Independent fuel injection

for the motor im planning on some cp pistons, forged eagle rods, a zex cam, and supertech springs and retainers.

Im thinking of the Garrett T3/TO4E 50 trim w/ .63 a/r
Garrett T3/TO4E 50 trim w/ .63 a/r
also, wut would be a good downpipe that would work with the mugen exhaust?

wud this be the ideal turbo? it needs to work with this setup:

Honestly that turbo you have linked on this post is too big in my opinion.

Lets do some math here. Cause god damn I love math,(not really lol) But I need some refreshment so I might as well help ya out.

Check this PDF for where I got my math from.
http://www.grapeaperacing.com/GrapeA...bochargers.pdf

Here we go. I'll also be rounding up just to help compensate for potential losses.

d16z6 has a stock redline of 7300, so I'll calculate for 7700 RPM.
its displacement is 1590cc, I entered 1.6 L and got 97.6 CI I rounded up to 98.

presuming 100% volumetric efficiency 98 CI * 7700 RPM / 3456 = 220 CFM

Just from this, I would estimate that if you wanted 300 hp out of your little 1.6 which runs 125 stock your going to need around 2.4 times more air. Which is about 530 CFM. To get that in Lbs per min take CFM and multiply by 0.069. so thats about 37 lbs of air. This is more than you'll ever need to make 300 hp. * remember I rounded UP for EVERYTHING I calculated*
Realistically I think 30 lbs of air will make 300 hp.

Theres a lot more factors than this but this gives an area of turbos that you should look at. Also 37 lbs of air should be beyond the choke point of the turbo you get. You should also know how to read a turbo graph. anything that can sustain more air flow than this is going to be too hard to spool and won't do you any good.

If your serious about pushing 300 hp get something like this.

If your remaining stock on internals get something like this.

Small engines don't like to build boost fast, so you better just shell out the cash to go dual ball bearing if you shooting for that 300 hp mark on a 1.6L

Oh and get rid of that midget ass air filter, thats things flow rate is probably insufficient for the amount of power your trying to make. look at the size of a 3.5L Engine's "high flow" air filters. Its pretty simple, if you put a thick ass sock on a vacuum its going to bog it down with restriction. You need an air filter thats not going to bog down your turbo.
