Hey,
I looked at those manifolds too, and they looked real nice. I don't know of anyone who has them, but I got a Turbo Specialties Kit, it came with a cast iron greddy manifold. I was able to keep A/C, and It looks that way with the Blox also. Just go cast for reliability... I've heard those stainless ones don't hold up well to daily driving.

Stainless holds up very well to daily driving, as long as its built correctly.
Ive run tons of stainless manifolds without a problem. Its when quality and material is skimped for cheaper price when you see problems.
I heard Blox is pretty decent. I think there was a problem with the WG port though or something before. I think an elbow is needed for thw WG port

Yeah u r right...
the problem is that everyone who's new buys stainless steel manifolds from EBAY, and the steel itself used in those shitty manifolds is cheap, and so are the welds, or so I've heard...
But ur right, my tuner has a nice set and they seem to work good...
But u cant keep ur A/C, which = DEATH when it's humid like it is in PA.
Besides, mines a DD and I absolutely NEED my A/C.

There are plenty of SS manifolds that allow you to keep AC.
Not all SS manifolds are huge Equal length tubular manifolds. I ran SS log manifolds before.

Full Race as well as others are making full equal lenght AC compatible manifolds now.
AC is an option, not a nessecity. lol.
I rip it out of all my performance cars. lol
Sometimes it does suck though.

Maybe A/C is an option for u, but I can't live without it, lol. black leather gets real hot :eek
I guess I haven't seen that much...
I've never seen a SS one that lets u keep A/C. I always was afraid of getting a SS one cause it doesn't look as durable as a cast one...
I still don't think SS will hold up to the extreme temperature changes that occur with daily driving; i.e. 10,000 miles +, as well as cast iron, which usually is a thicker gage. Guess that's why stock cars in general come with cast manifolds. That's also why I would say to get a cast manifold.

Here is some info from
http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/pi...ents-6_48.html
it shows that SS has a higher, almost twice as high value for a temperature expansion coefficient, as cast iron. This means that SS is being stressed alot more than cast iron at the same temp. Although steel is generally very ductile, the welds are not, hence people saying their welds are cracking. I'm sure there are some good SS manifolds out there, but u can't argure with the material properties. Cast iron has better thermal properties.

Material Expansion Coefficients
"Inch Fahrenheit" (in/inoF x 10-6)
Aluminum 12.8
Carbon Steel 6.5
Cast Iron 5.9
Copper 9.3
Stainless Steel 9.9

But then again cast iron isn't very strong in tension so I'm guessing that's why alot of high-HP track cars use SS. plus SS flows much better...
Guess the choice depends upon how u wanna drive.

Trust me , a good gauge SS manifold will last just as long if not longer then cast.
I know literally tons of people running SS manifolds for DD cars. i did for a while too before I deemed my car not suitable for a DD car.
I can tell you my Lovefab manifold was the thickest shit you will see. I swear the manifold weighed like 50lbs. lol. It was sick.

Check out lovefab.com or full-race.com or neukin.com for more info on their manifolds.

EX Plicit is an unknown quantity at this point
I just ordered a blox turbo mani w/ a tial WG. I'll let you know what the quality is like when I get it. I chose the BLOX over the Full Race SS mainly due to the price of a quality SS manifold is out of my budget.
