let me shed some light on this situation, read carefully and ask questions:
to understand turbo better, depending on the size of a turbocharger, you may not get full boost pressure until 4500 or 5000rpm.
so that means if you are just cruising and you dont floor it up to 4500rpm you wont be boosting high, it will be a low boost level.
now, if you happen to find a streetrace (which should be done at the racetrack) and you have it floored up to redline the turbo will spool up to that high boost that you want. without having a boost controller or button to press.
you cannot set a turbo to turn on at a cirtain rpm, its always running. but the turbo will not have enough exhaust gass pressure and thermal energy to produce power until the engine is under load (in gear and under wide open throttle)
the greddy pro b will adjust the peak boost level that the turbo will reach. not how fast it will reach it or what rpm it starts making power. sure it will produce more power at higher revs, but it takes a longer time to get to full boost than with lower boost levels.
but just out of curiosity, what is so wrong with pressing a button to enter high boost? you are at a light waiting to race anyway, why not just press a button, are you that lazy?
