if you got 400 bones to fork out for a boost controller by all means go for it... if not g et a manual one (most reliable ones out) only 80 bucks, but you cant change it without pulling your car over and popping the hood... if you want tocontrole it from the inside of your car, get a greddy one.

just out of curiousity...unless your engine can handle a large load of boost...whats the sense of a big expensive boost controller

if you're running 5-7 psi...as most do on stock internals(at least i believe) then wouldn't a manual one...or the one provided suffice?

The more expensive one can utilize boost by Gear/rpm/cycle duty/ which is great for people who not only want what looks good at the top of a dyno map. That's if you can afford it, and manuel one is a good idea if you're on a budget and don't care about ever little thing.

manual boost controller is actually the best you can get. Electronic ones add in unnecassary things like a/f guages etc. Plus they ahev much more lag (300-400) more than a manual one

Stillstock, you are very much so correct. Unless your engine will allow you to run more than 6 psi, what's the point of getting somethin expensive? there isn't a point in doing it, it just lights up your interior realy nicely and puts a hole in your pocket:eek:

Manual all the way.
