C.E.L 61 O2 sensor help??

I don't know what's going on but lately my car has thrown C.E.L's at me for the same 02 sensor problem. It says something bout an "Slow response, exhaust leak, defective Primary Heated O2 sensor".

This has done this to me before when I was n/a and I reset it and it just went away. Now that I'm boosted it happened a couple days ago and i reset it and it was fine...and last night it came up again.

Anybody have this problem and does anyone have a price on a new 02 sensor if it comes down to it?

CEL 61 - Oxygen Sensor, Heated - Sensor 1 (Primary)
high voltage, low voltage, or slow response.

Looks like you #1 O2 sensor (the one in the header) is going bad. I believe a replacement is around $200.

Yeah heated o2's are really expensive, the Denso O2 (what comes stock) from the dealer is a little under $200, but you should be able to find one cheaper.

PM me if you need to buy a replacement o2...

has anyone heard of using a bosch univeral replacement??

like you jus splice your wires and pretty much make it fit...its supposed to be $60 which is far more reasonable in my opinion.

I put Bosch 02 replacements (1-wire) on a Mazda MX-3 and a Dodge Dynasty and they seem to work fine thus far...but I don't know about the heated o2s (4-wire), I've only used Densos...
