cant rev past 3500 please help!!!

i have a 92 cx with a 95 d16z6 w/ greddy kit...car would not rev past 3500..its like im hitting redline...heres my list of wat i have...bov..side mount ic..boost gauge..air/fuel gauge..turbo timer...everything on the engine is stock..also using 95 p28 ecu..check engine light is on..it says fuel system is not running properly..too lean or too rich....also getting map sensor code...i am also running check vavles..might not be enough but still wouldnt cause the car to not rev past 3500....also i am still using the single wire o2 sensor ...

i think you might be a little too lean... maybe you need to supply that engine with a little more gas...

so your suggesting like new fuel pump and such??..ive heard ppl running same set up with stock fuel pump and stuff....thanx for the reply anymore help would be great...thanx again

yes it read lean but i dont know how to correct that..i dont even know if its right since i was told that i had to change my o2 sensor out to a 4 wire one...but yes it read lean...how do i adjust fuel if everything is stock??is that possible??

You're running too lean or.....

either you're running lean or you don't have enough check valves, and your map sensor is picking up boost. Do you have a A/f ratio gauge??? If not then you really should invest your money and get one. But i think you're running too lean. My friend uses like 6 check valves, so you might have to put more. later

a fuel problem ...would that be the fuel pump??..injectors??..all maybe??how do i come about checking these items??...is there any other fuel source that i missed??all i could think of if injectors and pump when mentioning fuel

for sure Pump.. injectors you just need to check to make sure they are not clogged and as far as the FPR check the psi setting on that and let me know what its set at... and check the FMU that you have setup.. b/c more often 9 out of 10 times the FMU is not hooked up correctly or its backwards..

ummmnn...everything is stock....stock pump..stock fpr...stock injectors...no fmu yet.....i was told ill be alright for a lil while without fmu(in the process of finding a decnt one)...i guess theres the prob not enough fuel...but isnt there ppl out there that is running turbo without any of those mods??...with an inline pump would it be just an ad on or replacement deal??

ill try an inline pump and an fmu..hopefully that will solve my prob....ill let ya kno how it goes..thanx for the help..sad part is now i have to wait on parts

Get an MSD inline its much cheaper and does the same as NOS pump... as for the FMU try www.thepartstrader.com they usually have them selling for 50 or cheaper.. good luck.. let us know how it went..

make sure all the ecu connections are soldered not wire beaned. that can cause mad problems.
