crp manifold

Is anyone running a crp log manifold in a 99-00si? Do you have any fitment problems? I ask because the flange for the turbo isn't staright down like an inlinepro or blox. It angles outward toward the radiator/fan. I have a drag manifold which I can't wait to replace. It's tight by the radiator by the ac pipes with the wastegate. Just wondering about others opinions/concerns. Thanks

Nick

with that angle onthe crp it could be a problem pending what turbo size you use. why are you replacing the drag manifold? boost creeping? ive seen alot of issues with that due to back pressure problems at lower boost levels. but at 15+ psi, it seems to fix itself and the boost seems to stay constant

I've heard lots of bad things about them. It hasn't cracked yet. I hate the wastegate location.

Another couple manifolds im looking at are hermsfab (www.hermsfab.com) short tubular manifold or a hermsfab log manifold on a b series? How are they? Do they have fitment problems like the blox does with a tial wastgate or turbo fitment with the block or radiator and fan? I will have a t3/t40E .47a/r .63 turbine.

it doesnt appear that there would be any issues having that one fit.

hey, Im the guy behind hermsfab..heh. anyways, there are absolutely no fitment problems with the log nor the short tubular manifolds. there obviously is some customizing needed to make it work(ie slim fans, zip tiein lines). other than that, there are no problems fitting the manifold/wastegate. they can even be had with complete 3" downpipes retaining p/s and a/c.
