custom turbo

ok so im lookin at these turbi kits all ranging from like 3-4 grand, then really lookin at em, there not much but a turbo manifold, turbo, intercooler piping and the intercooler itself, and the gaskets and such.........how hard would it be just 2 build my own tubo kit, by getting things seperately? what EXACTLY would i need 2 get 2 make the whole thing work on a 2000 integra gsr
